If you’re in Seattle at the end of March or beginning of April, you should go and visit the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Every year, I’m looking forward to this time of the year to enjoy the stunning views of brightly colored fields of tulips and daffodils.
Treat yourself with this a truly unforgettable trip by taking a scenic driving route along the fields and farms to the heart of the place – the RoozenGaarde – a beautiful spring wonderland featuring gorgeous color combinations and floral designs of tulips, daffodils, and muscari. A centrally located garden windmill creates the spirit of an authentic Dutch spot that is rooted in the history of RoozenGaarde.
And yes, stop by at La Conner, a charming waterfront village, for food, drinks, coffee or an art walk. On weekends this place is overcrowded, so try to find some other time to visit the festival during week days – fewer people and multiple photo opportunities around every corner for you to take some snaps back home! Don’t miss this awesome chance to enjoy Mother Nature!
